Imagine to have your wedding with over 120 guests, in private land, middle of nowhere, no access to power, water or internet, and the nearest town & accommodations are 2hrs driving away.
And then imagine doing it at New Year’s Eve.
The BRAVEST couple who accepted this proposal was Chinese celebrities Han Geng & Celina Horan, two household names in China. It was probably one of the most unique Chinese celebrities’s wedding.
It was our privilege to assist in planning & executing the wedding of Han Geng & Celina Horan. The wedding venue was a private farm located in a place called “Paradise”. The ceremony location was where Beorn’s house was built in the movie” The Hobbit”. Han & Celina both loved the idea of having their ceremony in nature where tall wise trees to be their marriage witnesses. The Reception was held in multi-tipis at a meadow, where over 120 guests from all over the world enjoyed an unforgettable night.
Love the planet was one of the core concept in planning of the wedding. Edible rice straws were used in bars and wedding flowers were donated to hospitals. Instead of wedding gifts, guests were invited to join the couple in their initiative to bring literacy & education to children in disadvantaged areas in China. A "MoonStar Libraries" for disadvantaged children 300km outside of Beijing will be built. In addition. they donated to the China Children & Teenagers' Fund headed by Ms. Peng Li Yuan to improve the education level & living environment of children in less advantaged areas.
